In the popular subtropical Baños we offer Spanish classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. Our classes will be given by professional teachers, who are very passionate about the Spanish league, the Ecuadorian culture and our volunteer projects, they will be very happy to share their knowledge with you. The classes will take place at the very nice and cozy hostel you will be staying at.
Joining our Spanish classes will enable you to gain a true local insight into the Ecuadorian culture and traditions, while learning the necessary vocabulary and grammar to be able to communicate better with the locals and in your volunteer project. Making your time in Ecuador more interesting and meaningful.

Baños
Baños is widely famous among travelers, not only for foreign but also Ecuadorians who always consider it to spend a weekend or a public holiday. Why is this? Well just because it is chévere! Baños is a vibrant small town full of fun and surrounded by nature; being located at the edge of the Andes and at the start of the Ecuadorian Amazon jungle, it offers a great deal of activities to ensure you days and nights of fun, nice, interesting and adventurous experiences. The weather is very nice as it is located at 1200 m. On the other hand, it is also the perfect place if what you look for is relax and disconnect from the rumble and hustle of the city, enjoying a bath in natural hot springs with beautiful views, rent a bike to get to know the town or just take a nice walk around. Baños is a safe place.

What to consider…
- Classes begin every Monday. Students should arrive in Baños at the latest on Sunday
- Available all year round, except last week of December and first week of January.
- Lessons are 20 hours a week in a group (max 4 students) or 16 hours if private (one to one)
- Classes are 4 hours per day, from Monday to Friday, except on public holidays, when the lessons for that day will be split into 1 hour extra on the other days.
- Programs from 1 to 12 weekso
- You can book a pre-stay Quito with arrival transfer, night in Quito and transfer to bus terminal or private transfer to Baños.
- You will take an entry test to determine your level, by the reservation.
A NORMAL DAY
LEARNING SPANISH
On Monday you will meet your teacher and companions at the hostel and you will start this fun learning process. Your classes are scheduled 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday. During your stay will also have 2 extra-curricular activities, that we have prepared for you: a half day Bike Tour and a half day Canopy bridge! Your teacher will explain you also the first day all the great places to visit in Baños for eating, drinking and dancing.
The ACCOMMODATION
You will be staying in a very nice and cozy hostel, greatly located and with a very nice staff. Their goal is to make you feel the hostel as your second home; that is the reason why so many people return year after year. It offers shared rooms with breakfast included.
The hostel reception is open 24 hours and there is a concierge and a luggage storage space; the place also has a rooftop terrace, a coffee and a pool! Also free WIFI is available.
Upon arrival in Baños (with public bus from Quito, 4 hours, around $5,00) you can take a taxi to the hostel (around $2,00).
